Infinance - 18 months in and loving it

Having already done the study to get the qualifications, with a few months of initial setting up, getting licensed with the Financial Markets Authority ( FMA ) with more police checks than a Saudi border, onboarding with the head dealer, Link Financial Group ( LFG ) who provide all the systems and look after compliance, getting accredited with over 45 providers from banks, non-bank lenders, finance and insurance companies with even more police checks … we finally went live in March 2023 and hit the ground running.

Since then we’ve helped a whole bunch of clients into motor vehicles, campervans, boats, trucks, tractors, diggers and other equipment, residential homes and investment properties, some commercial and development property and a few personal loans and debt consolidation with a bit of restructuring to boot.

Going forward we’re looking to ramp up our insurance arm, having refereed a bunch of clients to our in-house team FG Link for general insurance (things that don’t have a heartbeat) and getting our life, income and health insurance really flying as it’s an integral part of any good financial plan.

So its been a wild ride, even on the back of over 20 years in financial services previously, setting up your own business is both exciting and scary all in one but worth every step, every tank of fuel, every phone call , every email and every early morning and late night working on it after a day working in it … and I wouldn’t trade it for quid’s.

So we continue with blogs, social media, a few cool radio ads, print advertising, referral partner programmes, phone calls and good ol wearing out the shoe leather and tyres getting around talking to local business and we appreciate the referrals that take us north, south, east and west with clients all over NZ plus our own special local community as we #LOVETAUPO.

Its also great having the commute down the end of the hallway to the 8 x 8 at the back of the house overlooking the garden while my wife runs her kitchen, bathroom and renovation business www.kitchensunlimited.co.nz from the office downstairs … thinking about an office in town maybe in the future as we grow but for now we’re enjoying the freedom of being able to work remotely with a base from home and really, the business is out and about in the community so watch for the sign written white Nissan X-Trail cruising around town as I won’t be far from it.

So the report card 18 months in is … we’re all systems go, the more we do the better we are and the stronger the connections we make the more use we are to more clients … and we’re loving every minute of it.

Give us a holler if you need anything in relation to what we do and we can get you sorted … heading into the last quarter of 2024 with great expectation of positive growth for the upcoming year.

Kim Manunui

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.

And I say ‘we’ because I work with an awesome group of talented people who I gather together as required to complete a project.  Whatever your business, not-for-profit or individual needs are we gather the best team to get the job done.

Collaboratively we are creative, share sustainable values and work hard for great outcomes because that’s the buzz of satisfaction that drives us.

If you have an audience and market to reach, we can make that happen. Creative design, words that work and smart behind the scenes stuff that cuts through the online noise. We’ll design your website and then build it. We’ll manage the content as well as all your hosting needs. We can handle your online advertising so you get noticed,
and we’ll manage your social media presence so you get the clicks, likes and engagement to grow your business. All within the budget you set, because none of this needs to cost the earth.  And the job doesn’t stop when your website goes live. We are your virtual business partner.
